DATE OF BIRTH
A child should be 6 years by October 31st of P1, 7 years by October 31st of P2 and so forth.

ADMISSION
Admission to SIJ is on the basis of the outcome of written entrance test and an interview.

ENTRANCE TESTS
SIJ conduct tests periodically in the months November - April. The test format includes short written tests in English, Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin for Ichthus West. Ichthus South requires tests only in English, Mathematics and Bahasa Indonesia.

A student may be admitted unconditionally or conditionally if she/he requires higher proficiency in any of the subjects. In some cases SIJ may provide classes to assist future students achieve the required proficiency. If we are unable to provide a place even though a student has passed the entrance tests, she/he will be put on the waitlist.
